image resize

Is there any way with this program to resize images based on pixel size? Or do I have to use a script to open a program like photoshop and use it's automation features to resize the image?

You can gererally do anything with Macro Scheduler that you can do with the Keyboard and the Mouse.

So the quick answer is probably NO, you cannot resize an image with Macro Scheduler alone.

You can use Macro Scheduler to resize a window, but that probably will not help.

So, you will need to use Macro Scheduler to open up another program and send the keystrokes for that program to do the resizing.

Here's a great tool which we use a lot for batch resizing (and other things) images: EyeBatch. Let's you create scripts to manipulate multiple images.

Probably will do what you want and could be further automated with Macro Scheduler. Or have Macro Scheduler run an EyeBatch script and integrate with an existing Macro Scheduler script.

Or ImageMagick, it's free, not quite so user friendly but command line mode works very well from MS scripts http://www.imagemagick.org/script/index.php
