Hi,
Ever since our NT workstations began to have AvSyncManager service started automatically, it interrupted and prevented a Macro Scheduler script to complete. The script was used to load a pdf file then to run an application at start-up. It loads the pdf file ok, but would not run the application.
We have to either use one or another, but not both.
We look for advise.
Thanks
AVSyncManager

Just a note that I have AV running with Macro Scheduler on Win98ME and WIN98SE systems and have seen no problems.
There is no overlap on times of schedules, both would not be executing something at the same time except the constant monitoring of system time for triggers.

Hope this was helpful..................good luck,

Thanks Bob,
What makes it even harder for us to figure out is some NT machines worked fine, but many experienced this problem. I wanted to believe that the AVSyncManager is taking over all CPU and network resource, therefore the other application that scheduler tried to launch could not start. There is no ground for this guessing so I thought to bring this matter to the forum to see if anyone else may have seen similar.
Thanks again,
