send smtp

Post by PepsiHog » Thu Sep 17, 2015 6:10 pm

Hello,

So I read the posts. Both Outlook/Hotmail and gmail require ssl, so does this mean we currently have no way of sending an e-mail using MS?

Or what options are out there? I have installed all three dll's and the ssl driver and I can't get anything to work. I am running Windows 7. I even put the dll's in the windows folder with no success.

Maybe if someone has win7, and you have successfully used ssl, you could be explicit about the exact downloads and how you went about getting it to work. I downloaded both the common and the full install for ssl and neither worked. Also maybe you could post the script portion that sends e-mails for you. I am using the script provided in the blog with no success.

Please help and thanks,

I figured it out! Don't ask me what, cause I dunno. I will post the script later.

The latest version of Macro Scheduler installs the SSL libs automatically. So shouldn't need to do anything in that regard. But you need to enable SSL. See this article:

Did you know we are now offering affordable monthly subscriptions for Macro Scheduler Standard?
