Please help me disable News Alert! I do not want it! Ugh!

From the Macro Scheduler main menu select the "Help" menu item. Select "News Feed" from the drop down menu. When the feed reader appears check or uncheck as desired the appropriate boxes at the bottom of the screen, "Show on Startup" and "New Article Notification".
