2 bugs to report: FindObject, Shift key

Post by Grovkillen » Tue Nov 19, 2013 10:30 am

Okay, first of all I love the app but I have started to get a little irritated by two things.

1: I often use the "Cursor Monitor" but this will sometimes mess up the FindObject command when running the script. I then have to disable the "Cursor Monitor" and run again. Suggestion: please auto-disable the "Cursor Monitor" on run (or at least make it optional).

2: When using the Editor it's not possible to use backspace when holding down the Shift key. I often write variable names in CAPS and if I type something wrong I have to release the Shift key to backspace... not the Windows way of doing it.

1. Can you provide steps to replicate point 1? Are you using follow cursor or something? How does FindObject mess up the cursor monitor?

2. I have noted this in our bug tracker. Not sure why shift+backspace doesn't do anything but we'll investigate.

Thanks.

Hi Marcus,

Regarding 1: I noticed it only happen when interacting with a specific software (Monitor, a ERP application). The thing is that the cursor indicator maximize and cover the entire screen... Not a problem really since it only happens while the cursor indicator is on which is not that important during debugging.

Yes, it is still in bug tracker. We're not ignoring it. It missed the cut off for 14.1. With luck it will make it into 14.2. It's not the only thing we have to work on and we do have to prioritise.
