Hi Marcus,
In the Help File for Scope, you have this line:
It is possible to force new variables to have only local scope by setting LOCAVARS to 1
I assume you really wanted to have this:
It is possible to force new variables to have only local scope by setting LOCALVARS to 1
Take care and all the best in 2011

I just checked the Help File in version 12.1.4 and I see this typo has been fixed... it may even have been fixed before then... so 've updated the Subject of this post to indicate this has been fixed.
I found this because I just tried out the new links which now appear in the Forums... the new links are called:
Thanks for adding these links to the Forums Marcus, they should come in handy.
Take care

New links? As far as I recall they've been there forever.

Maybe they haven't been showing up in FireFox. I hadn't noticed two out of three before. The link "View unanswered posts" has been there forever and also shows up if you are on the forum as "guest". The other two only show up after you log in. BUT that might be why I've never seen them. I usually only log on in response to a post. I hardly ever see the main page while logged into the forum.
There is another link near the bottom of the page named "Who is Online". Is that new? I've never seen that one before either.

Not sure, I mostly use IE and mostly IE6 (not by choice).JRL wrote:Maybe they haven't been showing up in FireFox.
Exactly the change I noticed, it popped out at me, there were three links there stacked vertically where before there perhaps had been only one. I say perhaps because if the one link had been there, I hadn't been in the habit of clicking it so perhaps it had "faded into the background" from my perspective.JRL wrote:I hadn't noticed two out of three before.
If you say so. I keep it set to "auto-login" to the Forums in every browser I use and I logon daily, often several times.JRL wrote:The link "View unanswered posts" has been there forever and also shows up if you are on the forum as "guest". The other two only show up after you log in.
Again, my experience is the opposite, I am hardly ever not logged in.JRL wrote:BUT that might be why I've never seen them. I usually only log on in response to a post. I hardly ever see the main page while logged into the forum.
Interesting... I just clicked it to see what it dies. I also have never seen that before so something somewhere must have changed... but in any case its more functionality and changes for the better so its welcome.JRL wrote:There is another link near the bottom of the page named "Who is Online". Seriously, I know the links you're talking about. They have been there ever since the forum was introduced in 2002!
