Export Macros to Folders

Post by kpassaur » Mon Nov 24, 2008 10:57 am

I have been organizing my Macros using MS, however, I would like to use explorer to organize them instead. This way I can just call them up with the editor. However, I have over 800 of them and it is a time consuming task to create a new folder, search for the script that belongs to it and place it in the folder.

I was wondering if anyone has written a script that they would share that would read the groups.dat, macros.dat and groups.ini and export the files into a real file folder hirearchy instead of a virtual one.

They already are in a real folder hierarchy if you have specified a folder for each group. If not, just do that. So right click on a macro group and specify a new folder for it (beneath the main one .. or wherever you want). Do that for each group. Now they ARE in a real folder hierarchy. Close Macro Scheduler, go to your main Macro Scheduler folder (usually My Documents/Macro Scheduler) and you'll see all your group folders there and your .scp files will be in each one.
