Is there any way to push, via ftp, a complete directory and file structure, without doing each file and folder seperately?

Also, is there a way to change file permissions via ftp in MS?

Almost, but not quite. The FTP commands will accept a wild card, and can therefore push more than one file at a time. But you'd need to walk the directory structure and push the files per folder.
