The builtin zip ability

Post by fthomas » Thu Oct 09, 2008 8:26 pm

Thanks very much for building the zip ability within MS. It's really great.

But I do have a quick question. Is there any way to stop Zip_ADD> from adding in the directories and files below the level that is being zipped?

For example,

c:\dir1 contains 5 .txt files
c:\dir1\sub-dir contains 3 txt files

If I run zip_add>c:\dir1\zipped_files.zip,c:\dir1\*.txt,9,0,r

It will zip up the files in dir1 and create a folder sub-dir and zip up the files there too into the zip file.

If this request doesn't make sense, tell me.

Thanks

Frank

I wasn't aware that it did that. I will investigate.
