After some experimentation I have found that using a command prompt shortcut to a MS macro is doing something wierd.
It seems that MS stores the columns widths in registry key HKCU\Software\MJTNET\Msched but they don't appear to get updated until MS is manually refreshed. So I make my column adjustments , refresh MS manually and the registry column values are updated and all is well ?!
Well it is until I use a command prompt shortcut to a MS macro or a batch file with a MS macro command. When that happens, the registry column values are reset back to defaults ?? At this point, a manual stop/start of MS and walla the registry values are restored to my previous customized values. However , if instead of a manual refresh of MS, I do a system boot then the registry column values are NOT restored and are back to default values.
I never had any problems with my macro detail display until recently when it seemd after every boot , my custom settings got reset. Whats new is my use of MS macro commands in a batch file .
