DDE Server

Post by Mbrower » Tue Jun 24, 2008 11:08 pm

Can MS be a DDE Server? One of the applications I support uses DDE to send a string to a doc where I use MS to put it on the clipboard and then manipulate it for use in another application. I would like to eliminate Word as the DDE server.

No, afraid not. But it's a neat idea.

Can your app shell command lines/run programs instead? If so it could just do:

msched.exe macroname /string=blabla

Or if it can call URLs (HTTP) then msNet (Macro Scheduler remote controller) would work for you also.

Did you know we are now offering affordable monthly subscriptions for Macro Scheduler Standard?
