XMLParse Optional (Zero) items

Post by kdtrog » Fri Apr 17, 2015 9:14 am

Trying to parse a XML structure item which is not present leads to an "EAccessViolation". I would have expected that "num_items" will return "0".
Bug or feature? :)

Did you know we are now offering affordable monthly subscriptions for Macro Scheduler Standard?

Hi Marcus,

Additional Information. Hope it is needfull when fixing it.
I got the same exeption with empty nodes when it is formatted as follows: <Parameter /> instead of <Parameter></Parameter>.

Is there any workaround in the moment for this problem? I'm using the actual version 14.0.5.
regards
