Puzzled With MSG Box

Post by CyberCitizen » Mon Dec 03, 2012 1:33 am

Hi Guys,

Got a script that is executing Exe> to launch a new email in Outlook. The issue I have is I can't send that email.

I can't get it to send the text in the body of the message, yet if I have that MSG> command in there it works. I can't understand why.

Edit: MS v12.1.10

Hello CyberCitizen,

I don't have Outlook installed right now. But in my experience I have discovered that if a msg makes it work, you likely need a delay. Think about the time it takes for you to click OK on the msg.

Hope that's it,

That's the funny thing, its a MSG not MDL so there is no wait. That being said I have it kind of working now, its very flaky though even though I have waitwindowopen, setfocus, wait 1 example. But at this stage it appears half ok.
