can a license be created for compiled macro scripts to allow for sales ?

I don't believe there is a built-in mechanism for this. You need to come up with your own algorithm and implement it.

There are many ways to do this. Some simple.... some not so simple.... just depends what is appropriate in your situation.

Here is just one thought....

Make the compiled app look for a license file containing an encrypted string
which you send to the customer after they have paid.
