I have a little script running for years which is sending Login information via "Send" and "Ascii" to a remote desktop session started with mstsc.exe.
The script isn't sending text anymore since one of the last updates of MS.
I am actually running version 11.1.10 under Windows Vista SP1.
Last version successfully running my script was 11.0.33
Any ideas?

I'm sure this is a coincidence since there's been no fundamental changes to sending of text.
I have just tested sending text to an RDP screen using 11.1.10 running under Vista and it worked fine.
I would expect this to be a coincidence and something else is causing this, probably just a timing/focus issue.

Start mstsc.exe with account rights. Do you need to start remote desktop with admin rights? I don't. I just run it as normal.Do you know any alternative instead of starting MS with account rights?
Both would need to be running at the same level. Whether they are both admin, or both account.
Or disable UAC.
