Borderless windows

I have been searching the site for a way to create completely borderless windows, or modal windows. I would also like to stylize the windows with colors, gradients and or images.

Is there a possibility of using something similar to css styling to achieve this? (or any other manner for that fact)

Tried to post a sample script with an embedded image that displays on a borderless dialog but the forum software fails to post the script properly.

very cool I have done some intial testing and that works well... My second question is it possible to create a custom draggale "handle" within the window?

Great job, I dont think I would have ever figured this one out on my own.

Could you be more descriptive? I don't know what you're referring to when you say "draggale "handle". When I google that, google wants to change it to "draggable handle". Even for that I just find HTML and Java code that I don't comprehend.

Hi JRL,

By "draggable handle", I'd guess that mmcbrien wanted to be able to click and drag the image/dialog around the screen with the mouse.

I suppose one way would be to turn the Title Bar back on for the dialog and it could be dragged around by that... but then its no longer a completely borderless dialog... unless you know some other way to allow the borderless image/dialog to be moved around (dragged) by the mouse?

Based on that "guess", I've posted another script on google.

The only thing I "know" is that Macro Scheduler can do just about anything on a Microsoft computer. Its a matter of finding the right combination of characters to type into a script. I'm only one monkey so sometimes it takes a while.

I tried your latest on this and it seems to work fine... nice job and thanks for sharing that... you never cease to amaze.

Its such a good example of what's possible with dialogs in Macro Scheduler... perhaps it could/should be added to the "Scripts and Tips" forum here?
