Was wondering if there has been any progress on being able to use the IEAuto.dll functions on an EXISTING IE window (in other words a way to do something like a SETFOCUS to an existing window and then generate a handle like that returned from CreateIE so the other functions can then be used without having to start from a created IE instance?
Having to start an application from the beginning every time (logging on, navigating to the appropriate page, etc.) over and over again really hurts the usability of the IEAuto.dll and Webrecorder...
Many thanks for any help...

Any reason for multiple posts on the same subject?
As stated already, it is not possible to do what you want.
It is only possible to obtain a handle to IE instances that we have created.
