Format of Macros.dat File

Post by sailor dude » Fri Apr 27, 2007 3:23 pm

Can you share the format of the Macros.dat file?

This would be very useful to make changes to multiple macros.

In fact, a script could be written to edit this file :D

Take a look at this thread. Should be somewhat informative.

Though the Macros.dat file is a text file and can be edited be very careful and always backup the file before editing. Also, DO NOT edit Macros.dat while Macro Scheduler is running. That is to say, a "script" should not edit Macros.dat. If Macro Scheduler is closed, your "script" won't run. A script would need to be compiled and run as an executable while Macro Scheduler is closed.... not merely minimised.

Later,
Dick
