Reading Text from Screen (not GUI control)

Post by dbatshaw » Wed Mar 15, 2006 5:34 pm

I have a stock indicator program that displays a graph. I would like to check the value of some text on the graph in a macro. Does anyone know how I would read the value of this text?

Thanks!

It sounds like it is not really text, but a graphic. If that is the case the only method would be Optical Character Recognition (OCR). A tool that has been used in conjunction with Macro Scheduler for this is Textract:

Did you know we are now offering affordable monthly subscriptions for Macro Scheduler Standard?
