buttons can have hints?

What on earth does it mean "buttons can have hints"? And can you add color to the dialog buttons yet?

Hints are sometimes known as tool tips. A hint or tool tip is a piece of text, usually with a yellow background, that appears when you hover over the object.

At present there is no way to set the colour of objects in the dialog, though that may be possible via the Win32 API.
