The Editor that comes with Macro Scheduler is somewhat mssing some basic features that even Notepad has.
1. Select All with the CONTROL - A keys
2. Double click anywhere after the Let>= line to select everything after that line to the end of that line.
3. Getting a script to open in the Editor is a pain.
Can't you set in the Options if you double click on a script to automatically open in the Editor?
Editor is PRIMATIVE...how about some convenient features?

I have had to work with other macro tools that allow NO EDITING. I would rather have more macro commands and tools vs. more editor tools. Scripts are basic text files. You can edit in any editor of your choice. Macro Scheduler options actually allow you to define editor if you want. This should let you know that they are not intending to provide the best text editing tools. TextPadeditor works great with Macro Scheduler, and has syntax files to work with Macro Scheduler (BTW, TextPad macros cannot be edited).
You can go directly into the Editor with CTL-S. Personally, I don't find that too difficult. Not a pain at all. Why not have double click to run the macro vs. editing it? I think going to another panel to allow you to select one of many options was a good selection.
I like to see companies do great jobs in the area that they specialize in. Providing some basic tools to work with it is good, but let them focus development resources in the product's main features. Let TextPad be a great text editor, and let MJTNet provide a great Macro Scheduler tool.
I think that suggestions and requests should be focused on the core macro functions vs. the minor issues of access to an editing panel, and selection of some characters. The important issues should be how the MACRO scripts and SCHEDULING tools actually perform.
May I suggest you get Macro Scheduler working for you and the editing tools you want will be things you can live without in this program

How about a toolbar button?
I see there are Group Buttons on the Toolbar. But as far as I am concerned, I don't even see the usefulness of those buttons are they seemed to be rarely used. Once you group them you are set anyway.
Why not add an Edit Script Button on the Toolbar?
That''s far more useful and needed.

Click the 'Edit Script' button. In the File toolbar. By default first left.
If you want more powerful editing there are dozens of programmers editors already out there, many free. I don't believe in reinventing the wheel. You can download syntax definitions for a number of popular editors from our download page.
