Error including .ico

Post by rullbandspelare » Wed Apr 05, 2017 10:26 am

Hi!
When I point the compilation to a .ico file to include I get this error
"EndUpdateResource failed"

The exe is created but it has standard icon. The .ico file is valid and I have tried the original wish is used by another program. And also saved it with IrfanView and used that with same result.

I use V14.2.03

Thanks!

Having researched this I can see only one instance of it being reported before, and that was when the user was attempting to compile an exe to DropBox. Could it be that?
Yes, we have a Custom Scripting Service. Message me or go here

Can you post your icon file? So I can check the icon file setup etc.

Hi!
Yes, I am in Dropbox folder.
I tried to compile outside Dropbox. Then there is no error.

So Dropbox makes this error !!?? Strange.

Thanks for the tip!

Dropbox monitor all your files and during compilation it start to upload the now changed file causing the compilation to halt. That's my 5 cents.
