Avast Detecting MS Compiled Exe's

Post by CyberCitizen » Tue Aug 06, 2013 1:50 am

Hey Marcus,

Just thought I would let you know the latest version of Avast I have has started detecting Macro Scheduler compiled executable's as a generic virus. I have reported the 5x scripts that it flagged and moved to the virus chest, not sure if you would like to contact them as a company and have them white list them, or modify their detection. As you might have more pull coming from your actual email address.

I know they are false positives, so no need to submit them to virus total.

I have already reported them, however suggested that Marcus contacts them as the creator of the application and find out why they are now being detected.
