Blue Screen

Post by PepsiHog » Sun Feb 06, 2011 8:02 am

v12

Hello,

You may have seen my last post about my nephew being naughty on the internet.

OK, so I am writing my own macro to record the window names. My program runs under three different names. I have made it so if two of the three identies are stopped, the third will reboot the computer.

Follow me so far? BTW - don't have money to buy software, and this is more
fun. (for me)

So, I was wondering if anyone would know a way to fake a Blue Screen(programmatically). Just an image that looks like BSOD but also completely locks up the computer so a reboot is the ONLY way out. Like having to press and hold the power button to reboot, that kind of lock up.

I have an image. The problem is once a reboot is ordered, the image goes away and shows the Desktop or whatever. Not very believable.

You can cause a "test" blue screen in Vista. But it states that the end-user created it. So, if possible, a fake one is better.

Please help me crash my nephews computer. (In a fake way, ofcourse.)

Oh, the reason for the program is the simple program I wrote he found and disables through the task manager. He won't be so lucky with this one. Each identity restarts any other identity that's been stopped.

I'll post it, if anyone would like to check it out.

Thanks.

edit- The reason I want the blue screen is to make him believe he should NOT stop the process in question again.

I really don't like the way these threads are going. I know you feel you have a legitimate need to do this, but I do not want our company to endorse secret/spy type software masquerading as something it is not. That is NOT what Macro Scheduler is for. We can't support this kind of activity. Please can I ask you to stop posting on this topic.

Did you know we are now offering affordable monthly subscriptions for Macro Scheduler Standard?

Ok. I'll stop. But in my case, I am not creating this to illeagally spy. It is illegal for my nephew to do what he is doing. And the adults here could be held responsible for his actions. Plus he does not need to be doing those things to start with. Taking action is part of being a responsible adult.

But I can understand what your view point is. If you want to delete these posts, I understand.
