Just installed 7.2.040e.
Runs fine as an administrator. When logged on as a normal user and recording, after pressing ctl-alt-s pops up a display:
---------------------------
Application Error
---------------------------
Exception EInOutError in module hooklib.dll at 00008A75.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
What should I do ? Running as an admin is not an option, as you might have noted with the recent patches from MS.
Recording does not succeed as a non-admin account

Hi,
Check that the user has the correct privs on the Macro Scheduler directory(ies). Looks like the recorder is unable to create the output file (script file).
Or, install Macro Scheduler when logged in under the user account that needs to run it to ensure the correct privs.

Hi,
Thanks, placing the scrpts (group) in a user-writable directory helped. May I suggest you separate the program directory from the sript directory (-ies) alredy by default ? Also, the sw might check the permissions on script directories before proceeding and produce a somewhat more intuitive error message ?
