Hi Marcus,
From the Macro Scheduler main window, when you rename a Macro... the rename dialog that pops up contains only a short edit field for you to enter the new name into. I can fit 26 capital A's into it, a few more letters using mixed case.
I pulled the names of about 500 macros here and the average length (not inclucing the .scp) is 32 chars. For me, this means that about half the time, that edit field is just too short to hold the full name... which makes it a bit more awkward when trying to modify the name.
Could we get that field enlarged so that most (if not almost all) of the time, it would be long enough to hold the entire name? I often use names that are quite long to fully describe what a macro does so... I'd be happy with an edit field about three times wider than what we have today... but anything wider would help.

Note that if the Rename dialog were made re-sizeable (and the field would resize as well) that would also do the trick...
Thanks and take care

Hi Marcus,
I added this to bugtracker as a low priority Feature Request (Bug #188) so it wouldn't get overlooked.
Thanks for considering this and take care.

It looks like this post and BugTracker entry #188 paid off, I just received an email from BugTracker with this info:
Thanks also to JRL who reminded me I could enter this into BugTracker ... good call.
Everyone... this is the first hint I've seen that version 10 of Macro Scheduler is on the way... makes you wonder what new features are in coming... doesn't?
Marcus... will you give us any hints? Please?
