Right click on command - "Open Online Manual"

Post by Grovkillen » Tue Apr 20, 2021 11:38 am

It's now possible to have your caret on any row and use F1 to open up the Online Manual... BUT, wouldn't it be also good to have it in the right click menu? I mean, I've used MS for YEARS and only just now found that out

F1 has always opened up the manual on the command that the cursor is on. Been like that for must be nearly 20 years ;-)

Yep that F1 was a true (perhaps not so) hidden gem I just recently found :?

But if it'd be in the right click menu I would have found it years ago :)

This highlights how sometimes even those of us who have been using MS for 20+ years - even gurus like Grovkillen - can stumble on something "new". I include myself in this, and I work for support. F1 has been my "bible" pretty much since I first started using MS.
