Is it possible to add internal QR code generation?

And as a follow up request, scan input image file for QR code and get QR data back (encoded data, position, rotation, skew etc.).

I want to use these QR codes as markers in in-house communication and the QR would help connecting the printed drawing files with scribbled notations back into the digital world much easier.
