Double Entry in Dialog Entry

Post by kpassaur » Tue Dec 06, 2016 12:36 pm

I was manually setting the properties of some text boxes and drop down lists in the Dialog Editor. Under the Properties for a text box the Width shows up twice, it does not on ComboBoxes. I figured it was me so I closed everything and there it was again. I deleted the box and tried again and it was back. I just set both to the same.

That last entry is a vestige from whatever the previous object was viewed in the Dialog Designer, usually the main dialog. You can usually easily identify it because it will be out of alphanumeric order. Click the main dialog then click almost any other object and the vestige will change based on the number of properties for the dialog object. This has been an issue since version 12 was first released. My advice is ignore it.

It is not an issue, I just thought I was losing it. Thanks for the follow up

I've made a note in the bug tracker.
