Change screen resolution?

Post by Dorian (MJT support) » Sat May 01, 2004 12:20 am

Is there a way to change screen resolution in Windows ME? I'm trying to find some clever command line way of doing it.

I am using an ATI Rage Expert graphics card, but I'd rather have some way of doing this which is not card specific.

i know there is a macro like this in the macro lists, but this seems to be very specific to the card the poster has.

Have a look at ResChange [more...]

To get its syntax: reschange /? on the commandline.
Normally, ResChange will prevent you from using a mode that is not supported by your video card and monitor. You can use the -force switch to use an unsupported video mode. Please be aware that you can damage your video card or monitor by using an unsupported mode. 12noon assumes no responsibility or liability for your use of ResChange.

Thanks Lumumba. I don't know how you manage to find all this amazingly useful freeware, but I'm very glad you share it with us.
