dot or comma in numbers

Post by pfischer » Wed Sep 09, 2015 1:19 pm

Dear forum,
I am working with MS vers. 12.8 and have some problems with decimal numbers. Becasue I use programs with either use . or , as decimal separator, I often get errors when reading e.g. 10,2 instead of 10.2. Is there an easy way to tell ms which decimal separator is used in a certain command line e.g. in ReadLn> function.

Thanks a lot
Philipp

You can set the DECIMAL_SEPARATOR variable.
