Hello,

i am using 2 PC's with only one Monitor/Keyboard/Mouse. The KVM Switch is forced to switch by pressing ScrollOn and ScrollOff within two seconds followed by PageDown (NP2). Manually it works but when i try to use a MacroScheduler Script there is no function at all. What's going wrong?
I'm using MS Version 7.2.043.

I don't think you can make KVM switches with Macro Scheduler.

KVM captures code from keyboard, looks for hot keys, and allows other inputs to continue to I/O processor. Macro Scheduler sends input directly to I/O processor. KVM switch never sees the input from Macro Scheduler.

Normal input flow:
Keyboard ------ KVM switch ----- I/O Keyboard Handler

Macro Scheduler input flow:
Macro Press/Send commands ----- I/O Keyboard Handler

Diagram of KVM and inputs:
PC1 Kybd ------->|
...........................|----------->KVM ---------|--------->I/O
PC2 Kybd ------->| ................................. |
Macro Scheduler --------------------------->|

At least that is the conclusion that I came to a long time ago with Macro Scheduler.

My Work Around is to use Net Meeting to call up the other system, then switch back and forth between Windows with Macro Scheduler. May not be pretty

, but it works, and that is the most important botton line.

Don't you hate when that happens?

I took a quick look and it's headed for my toolbox! I sure hope it works as presented. Looking forward to trying this out.

Hello

synergy... sounds good, but doesn't work.

In "Test" modus i get a "changed from computer1 to computer2" but after "Start" the screen doesn't change at all. Any commands?

I am Using Windows XP and Win98.
