PROBLEM: I am having an issue with the image capture / find function at high resolution (2880x1800).
I tried the example 'Flash Example' that searches for a number of images on the screen and then interacts with them. The script was consistently moving the mouse and 'clicking' to the bottom right of the actual image location. I went to recapture the image as suggested at the top of the script, and noticed that when I open the image capture tool, my desktop is automatically adjusted and appears to go back to a lower resolution (although the system resolution as displayed in Control Panel does not actually change from 2880x1800). While I have the image capture tool open the screen stays at this lower resolution, but does not actually display the entire desktop (bottom and right are missing). Immediately after the image is captured, the screen returns to normal appearance.
If I change my screen resolution to something lower, the image capture/find function works properly. Unfortunately it isn't feasible to run my desktop at a lower (non-native and blurry) resolution so that the image capture function can work.
I was hoping you could look into this. I wonder if there is a 'soft limit' on the 'capture screen' function that is causing this problem?
I look forward to your reply.
Regards,
Tim

Sounds odd. I haven't seen this before. My entire desktop resolution goes across three screens with a total resolution of 4725 wide and I don't have an issue.
However, we don't have a single screen with that resolution size to test with. Is it just the one screen or across multiple monitors?

The PC I am having the trouble on is a single screen - MacBook Pro Retina running Windows 8.1 at native resolution.
I have also tried it on my desktop setup which is arranged as a dual display with total resolution 5120x1600. This seems to have no troubles at all, although each screen is only slightly smaller in pixel count (2560x1600 each).

Re: Image capture at high resolution - ? Bug
I am having the same problem with my Lenovo laptop with screen resolution of 3200x1800. I have to reduce the resolution to 1280x768 in order for the screen to be completely visible for screen capture as described in the other postings.
Also running Win 8.1 and MacroScheduler 14timi2fly wrote:PROBLEM: I am having an issue with the image capture / find function at high resolution (2880x1800).
