.NET Framework 3.5 SP1 Support

Post by armsys » Sat Nov 15, 2008 1:26 am

Will Macro Scheduler support .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 ?
Version 10.1.21 only supports .NET Framework 2.0.

Can you explain what you mean by "does not support"?

Macro Scheduler is a native Win32 app and therefore does not require .Net and is independent of .Net so it does not matter whether or not .Net is installed or what version.

Macro Scheduler can automate .Net apps just as it can any other.

If you have a specific problem please describe it.

After uninstalling .NET Framework 1.0 and 2.0, Macro Scheduler has trouble to initiate even though .NET Framework 3.5 is properly installed. In addition, it specifically demands for .NET Framework 2.0.

Odd - I have Macro Scheduler running on machines without any .net framework, and with various .net versions. All without issues.

Macro Scheduler does not use .net as it is a native Delphi win32 application, so has no dependence on .net.

Native also. We don't use .Net. Everything is Win32.

I'm sorry. It's my mistake. After your assertion, I uninstalled .NET Framework 2.0 in order to recreate the scenario. The error message turns out to be Mindjet MindManager 8. My apology.
