Moving bitmap recognition not working on another computer

Post by ckhokie » Mon Oct 27, 2008 3:38 pm

I am trying to move a bitmap recognition script to another computer and it does not work. What settings need to be the same so I do not have to create the 220 bitmaps again. Do the video cards have to be the same? Please Help!

Make sure smooth edges of screen fonts and color quality settings are the same on both PC's.

Would it be reasonable that assuming that these 2 items are the same, that it would work between xn XP and Vista machine?

I'm on XP, but trying to run a script on Vista.

I see in Effects on XP, it has the smooth edges on screen fonts, but I don't see color quality settings??

Also will they be in the same place on Vista?

Thanks,
Alan

You'll have to make sure both machines use the same theme. E.g. the default Vista is completely different to the default Windows theme and I would not expect a match. If you set both to Windows Classic you may have some luck. Make sure the colour depth is identical, font sizes are identical, font names are identical.

Image recognition is image comparison, not AI.

Did you know we are now offering affordable monthly subscriptions for Macro Scheduler Standard?

Thanks for the information.

In my case, I don't have too many bitmaps, so I may just create another set for Vista, and see how that works.

Thanks again,
Alan
