For the last several months, the "big gear" icon suddenly vanishes from the Notification Area (right hand side of Taskbar) of Windows XP Home. Of course, without the Macro Scheduler icon, it's impossible to know instantly whether it's running a script. Have you encountered the similar problem? One thing for sure: Macro Schedule is started up during Windows startup (cold or warm).
I've attempted the following ways in vain:
1. Add "C:\Program Files\MJT Net Ltd\Macro Scheduler\msched.exe" to Windows registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
2. Add a shortcut in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
3. Add a shortcut in C:\Documents and Settings\MyName\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
4. Tweak the settings of Notification area
All above attempts fail unless the Macro Scheduler process (ie, msched.exe) is killed and run Macro Scheduler again. Only the latter method can display the big gear again.
Your feedback will be much appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
