ddereques return variable

the dderequest return variable i get from excel retrieves only the first digit i.e if the value in the cell is 10 it retrieves 1 instead of 10. It drops the 0. Is there something I need to do to get the whole 2 digits.

I've not seen this. I've used DDERequest to return significant amounts of data from Excel and it has always been returned correctly, in full.

Is there something about the way your cell data is set up? Or perhaps there's something wrong with your DDERequest code. Feel free to post a code snippet so that we are better placed to help.
