Disabling mpouse and keyboard while macro runs

Post by Steve » Tue Apr 29, 2003 11:15 am

Hi,

Is there a method of disabling mouse and keyboard input until a marco
has finished.

I have a macro writes to the registry and then launches an application
Once launched I need to chnage some parameters within the app before
allowing user input. If a users tries to use the app as soon as it opens the
parameter change is messed up.

Any guidance would be appreciated

Hi,

No, short of unplugging the keyboard.

Since Macro Scheduler simulates user activity at the user level by sending keystrokes and mouse events, disabling the keyboard or mouse would also prevent Macro Scheduler from working.
