Solution to Importing Macros in MS 9

Post by sailor dude » Fri Apr 27, 2007 2:52 pm

I tried to import a macro from the taskbar using File > Import Macro, selected the file from a different folder than the group path, selected the file, and I got a Imported O Files Message.

In the past, I would create a new file and copy and paste the code using Notepad into the new file.

I found a better solution. I selected the desired group. I clicked the new macro icon below the toolbar. I clicked the Import button on the dialog box and selected the file. This method sucessfully imported the macro. The downside is you can only import 1 macro at a time.

I can't replicate this problem. Using a text editor I saved two files, junk1.scp and junk2.scp in an unrelated directory. In V9 I did File, Import Macros, selected that directory, highlighted the two files, pushed the button and got the "2 macros imported" message.

It May Be Related to a Registry Key Issue

Change the value of this registry key:

HKCU/Software/MJTNET/MSched/DataDir
