DDEPoke......

Post by shocam » Sun Apr 22, 2007 4:03 pm

Is it possible for MS to DDEPoke a variable/variables into another application?

I use Kea! with a macro to open MS.exe with 2 variables (data1 and data2). MS.exe then does some work with these variables and I would like it to send them back into the still running Kea! macro (data3 and data4) without having to write them to a file first.

Is this possible????

:?

Yes, *IF* the other application offers a DDE server. E.g. Excel accepts DDE Poke operations.

Did you know we are now offering affordable monthly subscriptions for Macro Scheduler Standard?

Hi Marcus - Kea! will act as a DDE server so I think it should accept DDE Poke, however, we have tried to get this to work but cannot for some reason.........
