I know theres a way you can send [SPACE] to an application BUT

Is there any command for

Press [SPACE]
Release [SPACE] ?

You can use Send Character/Text>

Just press the spacebar key and insert the "Space" character. In the Editor, on the menu bar, click on Edit, View all Characters to see the "space".

Yes i'm aware of how thats done .. but i wanted to know if there
was a command to press @ hold [SPACE] like

Press Backspace
Press Tab
Press Enter

then Release it

Release Backspace
Release Tab
Release Enter

No, there is no such command in Macro Scheduler.

Is your question out of general curiosity or do you have a need for this?

If Yes to a need, can you explain? I am curious about why you would need this, what is it that you cannot do?

It's no big deal .. Just making a script that will auto play a game for me.

I needed to press and hold space for a series of jumps, and by sending
a keystroke space, or multiple of them doesn't seem to do it.

Was just curious if there was such a command. I'll see if i can work around this another way.
