Grab data from the little window which pops up at the cursor

Post by Prospero » Sun Jul 24, 2005 11:53 pm

Hi all,

Well, having used Macro Scheduler for about a month, I have to say that this is GOOD software. Congrats to the MJT team. (Even if I still don't quite understand when I have to bracket variables with % characters;))

Still, there's always trial and error;)

Anyway, here's my latest question for the knowledgeable amongst you, with reference to this .jpg image:

http://public.fotki.com/prospero2005/im ... ropic.html

As you can see, this is a screen capture of a mapping program. Now, the little box under the mouse pointer is one of those "automatic pop-up info boxes" (to use the technical term...) which follows the mouse pointer around.

My question is: can I use Macro Scheduler to grab the text data contained within this box (which is in the following format):

Cursor:
SD 58105 58182
Elevation: 100 m

Most grateful for any help!

Prospero
