Save macro in editor but Msched says macro is open

Post by spid » Tue Jun 07, 2005 8:03 pm

What am I doing wrong. I open a macro to edit it (no macros are running). Make edits, save it in editor, then go to next dialog box (Macro) and it says cannot save edits because macro is in use? But it isn't as far as I can tell?

Thanks,

Rob

Not quite sure what you mean by "go to next dialog box"?

I am having the same issue at a client site. I know the macro was stopped, but could not save because Msched says the macro is still running. I then began noticing in the status bar (bottom of Msched screen) that even when the macro had stopped it was being reported as running.

I asked my client about the setup of the machine because of some unrelated performance issues and was told the machine was a mirrored drive and would take a bit longer to save files, etc... could this also confuse MSched into thinking the file is still running?

Thanks
