error with GETCONTROLTEXT

I have not seen any talk of this on the support form, so I just sent in an email and am posting this here.

When I use the function: GetControlText>Notepad*,Edit,1,npEdit
It returns all but the last letter.

On futher investigation using view system windows and finding the edit piece there it shows up the same way, missing the last letter (or number). Why is this and how can this be fixed?

Sorry for the trouble, I just now started using this function and view system windows for my scripting. Kris.

Already discussed in another topic. Support says it will be fixed in the next version.
