how to write scripts

Post by uknown » Thu Oct 14, 2004 5:39 pm

I was wondering if there is a good book, or program on how to write scripts. I need something to look back on, and guide in my scripts.

I started by printing off the command list from the help file and reading each command one by one. This really helped me get get a good idea of what can be done. You can also cut and paste the little examples included with each command, and off you go....

There's also a very good scripts archive on this website.
