Give some example scripts of setting up macro scheduler so that it would log onto a forum and then go into specified text files and post this text as messages in the forum and lets say that you might have more than one message to post. Any good scripters here?

Hello Robert.....

Just wanted to keep identities distinct.....

I think that I should point out that the Robert Hansen who started this subject is not the Bob_Hansen who has been here for years!..

Two different people.......
Hope this was helpful..................good luck,
Bob

Bob,

This is either a coincidence or, it seems more likely, someone trying to mimic your ID. Not quite sure what the original post is trying to achieve. I could write a script to automate forum postings standing on my head, but clearly a script like that is only designed for causing chaos and I don't see any value in that.

I think everyone here knows full well that you, a valued contributor to this forum, wouldn't post a message like this.

Unfortunately it would be quite difficult to prevent or control people's selection of usernames. We could restrict IP addresses but as always that causes a problem where people use dial ups with dynamic IP addresses.

Unfortunately the only solution would be to go to a fully moderated forum, or one, like the old days, that is restricted to registered users. That would be a shame and would ruin it for everyone. Let's try to avoid that. I know a lot of people get a lot of value from this forum. Let's keep it that way.
