Warning: Regional Settings

Post by Methuselah » Wed Jun 01, 2005 8:13 am

Until fixed, please be aware that if you change certain of the regional settings on your workstation, that you should stop and restart Macro Scheduler.

Our date-format changed from mm/dd/yy to dd/mm/yyyy.
I have just run a month-end for the 5-jan-05.

It appears that MSched does not receive "notification" of such changes.

Best to bounce it if you change while MSched is running.

Meths.

Trouble is with GetDate

Post by Methuselah » Fri Jun 03, 2005 8:35 am

For the third day in a row things are buggered and I think I know why now ... GetDate>

GetDate>WhatDate
MessageModal>It is %WhatDate%

Seems simple enough, and honours the dd/mm/yyyy regional settings.

But ... leave MSched running overnight to kick off your daily run after midnight ... and in the morning ...

Stunning !!

Marcus has addressed with a custom compile. (7.3.11.5)

Macroscript GetDate> and VBScript date now match.
