writing to an .mdb file

Post by IXIS » Fri Mar 04, 2005 5:43 pm

Hello,

It's been a little while since i've used MSc, so excuse me if this has been covered.

I am about to attempt to write a script that updates a list of files in an Access .mdb file. On regular schedule, audio files download to a specific directory on my server, and I need to plug in the filename and directory path of said files into a certain table inside my .mdb file.

Was just looking for some general tips/directions to look in before i waste time over the weekend barking up the wrong tree. This will be the first time that i've worked with .mdb files and MSc together... any help would be greatly appreciated.

:D

There's an example of working with Access tables directly here:

thanks support.

I'll give that a good read and see where it leads me. I'm sure you will see some more posts though on this... thanks in advance
