Capturing Data Typed

Post by CyberCitizen » Mon Nov 07, 2016 1:50 pm

Hi Guys,

I have a need to capture data typed in a specific application for debugging purposes, and was going to install a keylogger etc, but thought maybe MS can help me here as I am only wanting to capture a specific application.. Is there anyway I can have MS monitor an application and capture text that is typed?

Almost similar to how the Record Macro function works?

The answer is probably "it depends". Depends on the app, the control the text is in, etc. If you can access the text in the control being typed into then you could presumably loop and capture. But you're gonna have to experiment to see what can be captured and which method works best.

Did you know we are now offering affordable monthly subscriptions for Macro Scheduler Standard?
