FTPGetDirList does not return Virtual Directories

I am running a Script using FTPGetDir list with Type "D" against a Microsoft FTP Server. Windows Server 2008 R2 with IIS 7.5.
The FTP Server has defined virtual Directories which I can see with any FTP Client under root, but FDPGetDirList shows only Files.
If I specify the "invisible" DIR as Host_DIR only Files under this directory are returned as well.
Any idea?

Apparently this is by design (of IIS):
